A crisis can change our lives just as heavy rain can change a peaceful landscape into a waterfall.  We have two choices in these situations, wait for the rain to stop or walk through the rain to find shelter. That was how I felt when my doctor told me my AIC showed I was pre-diabetic and prescribed Metformin for me. Sometimes our decision to actively make a choice or passively not making a choice can decide our path/s.  I decided to lose some weight or the next step for me would be insulin.  While I am not in peak shape or my ideal weight, I lost enough weight to have a stable AIC and stopped the Metformin. I want to help you to make healthful choices about your life, and health.    Juliet
